Denison Yacht Sales in Dania Beach (Harbor Town) is seeking a Full Time Receptionist/ Listing Secretary. Applicant must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and be willing to learn the multiple listing systems in the Yachting Industry. Experience in marine industry of at least 1 year is preferred. Be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, be able to create workbooks with multiple worksheets and have experience with basic formulas in Excel, Outlook, an understanding of multiple drives and directories and the ability to navigate within, as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro – Adobe Sign/ DocuSign.
This position requires a well-organized, service-minded individual with good interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be able to take initiative, and work independently (after a training period).
- Answering phones, accurate message taking, transfer of calls to brokers and greeting clients
- Create listings by uploading listing information, including vessel specifications & images to online sales program such as Yatco, YachtWorld, IYBA Portal (Experience preferred but training can be provided)
- Process all listing additions/changes in all MLS program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and powerpoint
- Able to coordinate work in a variety of departments and wear many hats
- Creating presentations and Excel expense reports when needed
- Organizing and filing
- Keep supplies replenished, copy and printers, kitchen supplies etc.
- Help at all major East Coast yacht shows and local events.
- Previous experience and boat knowledge are a plus!
