Sales Brand Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve targeted sales revenue for Ferretti Group of America for one of its premier brands
  • Analyze the markets in order to have the right product being built on speculation for projected sales
  • Educate the dealers and sales team and provide sales support to them, as well as directly to the clients when needed
  • Inspect product as well as gather input from owners in order to provide feedback to Brand Head of Sales 
  • Include VP of Sales and Brand Head of Sales in negotiations and potential deals
  • Visit existing markets to meet with potential buyers, build relations with dealers/sales people and to follow up with existing owners
  • Support with events and partnership relations to order to further promote sales
  • Review with VP of Sales and Brand Head of Sales the annual needs of product for production planning
  • Follow and maintain details of new construction for customer build boats and speculation boats
  • Works closely with dealers and dealer’s sales executives to ensure the pricing and sales yield exceeds budgeted targets for the brand
  • Responsible for the accuracy of contracts and addendums, obtaining the approvals and the distribution of contracts
  • Monitor the entire sales process for each deal to ensure the overall schedule and deadlines are met
  • Work closely with the FGA After Sales Team to assist in attainment of outstanding customer service
  • Gather information on competitor pricing via relationships and/or external brokerage houses
  • Supports the development of sales opportunities through strategic partners and expansion of dealer networks 
  • Ongoing product communication with dealers and dealer’s sales team to generate excitement, knowledge and achieve sales targets
  • Works closely with Marketing to continuously improve the lead management program 
  • Manage leads with dealers and dealer’s sales executives in a disciplined and structured process to ensure each lead is handled in a way to achieve sales objectives
  • Supply updated brand information for company web page and monitor web page for any inaccuracies, and or discrepancies as it pertains to product line
  • Work closely with Marketing on strategy, events, advertising, digital media, social media, CRM use, and related initiatives
  • Models the company culture, demonstrates leadership and contributes meeting overall company objectives
  • Other duties/projects as may be assigned

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Prefer Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.), in Sales, Business, Marketing or related field. 
  • Five years related experience in marine or luxury sales, preferably experience managing a brand in a dealer network

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

 

  • Knowledge and expertise on Italian yacht lines/marine industry, preferably FG Brand lines
  • Demonstrates leadership, teamwork and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Bilingual English/Spanish/Italian a plus, but not required
  • Proven track record of achieving sales results
  • Technical knowledge of engines, boats, systems a plus
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically throughout the year
  • High proficiency with computer use and MS Office Suite
